Since 2011, we've focused on one thing: empowering teachers to transform instruction. Goalbook builds educator capacity to deliver high-quality IEPs and specially designed instruction, not a shortcut around the work, but a way to do it well.

We ask a different question than the industry. Where others ask "what can we automate away," we ask "how do we elevate the human work" because the research (Hattie, Marzano, and others) consistently shows access to an effective teacher is the single biggest school-based factor in outcomes for students with disabilities.

Goalbook is proven at scale, by the people using it. In our 2025 survey, over 8,000 special educators nationwide reported that Goalbook makes them both more effective and more efficient not faster at the expense of quality, but better and faster.

Goalbook is backed by real evidence, not marketing claims: over a decade of independent research from WestEd and Johns Hopkins, and the nation's only CASE endorsement for Specially Designed Instruction.

But technology alone was never the point. Goalbook is a team of former special education directors and practitioners who support the people and systems behind the work through professional learning, implementation support, and ongoing coaching, not just software.
